These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and the developer of SleekSnip ("SleekSnip", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the SleekSnip Android application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the App. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor in your household, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the minor agrees to these Terms.
SleekSnip is an Android productivity application that integrates with the Android operating system's native text selection interface. It allows users to select text within any compatible application and save that text as a file in TXT, PDF, or Markdown format to the device's local internal storage. The App is available in two tiers:

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time, subject to the limitations described in Section 6 (In-App Purchases and Billing).
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
You retain full ownership of all text content you select, save, and store using the App ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content. Because the App operates entirely on your device and does not transmit Your Content to our servers (except where you explicitly enable Google Drive Sync, which transfers files directly to your own Google Drive account), we have no access to, and no rights in, Your Content.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that your use of the App to capture and store text does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party. The App is a tool for personal note-taking and research. You agree to use it in a manner consistent with applicable copyright law, including the principles of fair use or fair dealing where applicable in your jurisdiction.
All files generated by the App are stored in the private internal storage sandbox of your Android device. We do not back up this data on your behalf. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We strongly recommend enabling the optional Google Drive Sync feature (available to Pro users) or using Android's built-in backup functionality to protect against data loss from device failure, loss, or factory reset.
SleekSnip Pro is offered as a one-time, non-recurring in-app purchase processed through the Google Play Store. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and no recurring charge. Once purchased, the Pro licence is permanently associated with your Google Play account and can be restored on any device where you are signed in to that account.
The price of SleekSnip Pro is displayed in the App and on the Google Play Store listing at the time of purchase. Prices are set in your local currency as determined by Google Play and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change the price of SleekSnip Pro for new purchases at any time; any such change will not affect licences already purchased.
All payment transactions are processed exclusively by Google Play. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card details, billing address, or any other financial information. Your purchase is subject to Google Play's own terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.
Refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted directly to Google Play in accordance with Google's refund policy. We do not process refunds independently. Google Play generally allows refund requests within 48 hours of purchase. After that window, refunds are at Google's discretion. We will cooperate with any legitimate refund investigation initiated by Google.
We may add features to SleekSnip Pro at no additional cost. If we were ever to remove a core Pro feature (defined as any feature listed in the Play Store description at the time of your purchase), we would provide reasonable notice within the App and, where technically feasible, offer a comparable replacement feature. We will not reduce the core functionality of the Pro tier without notice.
The Google Drive Sync feature, available exclusively to Pro users, allows the App to create and manage a dedicated folder within your personal Google Drive account. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
drive.file OAuth scope, which restricts its access to files it creates itself. It cannot access, read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.The App, including its source code, design, graphics, user interface, trademarks, and all other content created by us (excluding Your Content), is owned by or licensed to SleekSnip and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The SleekSnip name, logo, and "S" lettermark are trademarks of SleekSnip. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without our prior written consent.
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes in detail what information the App collects (and, more importantly, what it does not collect), how it is used, and your rights with respect to that information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of this agreement. By using the App, you confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SleekSnip, its developer, affiliates, licensors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for SleekSnip Pro, or, if you have not made any purchase, five US dollars (USD $5.00).
Because all user data is stored locally on your device, we expressly disclaim any liability for loss of Your Content resulting from device failure, theft, loss, factory reset, operating system updates, or any other cause. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SleekSnip and its developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your use of the App in a manner not authorised by these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's intellectual property or other rights through your use of the App.
These Terms are effective from the date you first install or use the App and continue until terminated. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the licence granted to you under Section 4 will immediately cease. Sections 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14 will survive any termination of these Terms.
Termination of these Terms does not affect your right to retain any files already saved to your device or your Google Drive prior to termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Rebublic of Malta. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App that cannot be resolved informally shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation before either party may pursue formal legal proceedings. We encourage you to contact us at support@sleeksnip.com before initiating any formal dispute process, as most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law or where we consider it appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
The App integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, which are independent of these Terms:

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Links to third-party websites or services in this document are provided for convenience only.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SleekSnip with respect to the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
Language. These Terms are written in English. If these Terms are translated into another language and there is a conflict between the English version and the translated version, the English version shall prevail.
